UNIVERSITY HISTORY

The university was established in 1992 as the Kazakhstan University of Economics and Law; in 1995 it was transformed into the Kazakhstan Institute of Economics and Law, in 2003 the Caspian Public University. In 2007, the High School of Law "Adilet" was annexed to the Caspian Public University. In June 2013, the Parasat multidisciplinary institute joined CPU.


The university is the successor of the educational institution "Kazakhstan Multidisciplinary Institute" Parasat "(amendment and addition to the Charter of the EI" Caspian Public University "No. 2841 of 29.08.2013). The form of ownership is private.
University mission - "We expand the boundaries of knowledge to serve the country and humanity"
University Vision - Caspian University:
1) one of the leading (research) universities in Kazakhstan, capable of successful competing in the higher education market, creating and improving distinctive competencies in specialized fields of training, reflecting the peculiarities of Kazakhstan;
2) a university of international level - in content and organization of its programs, students and teachers;
3) a leading knowledge (research) center in the Kazakhstan institutional context.
The goals of the university:
High professionalism, as pursuing the highest professional and ethical standards.
Academic freedom and honesty as the highest basis for the development of the personal integrity for the professors and students in teaching and evaluation.
Innovation as a source of new knowledge and learning technologies.
The main task of the university is to train specialists with higher and postgraduate education by creating the necessary conditions for the development of educational programs aimed at the professional formation and development of the individual based on the achievements of science and practice.
The University carries out its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education," "On Science," "On the Commercialization of Scientific and (or) Scientific and Technical Activities" and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan regulating educational and scientific activities, as well as this document and the charter of the University basing on the principles of cooperativeness and collegiality.
The principle of corporate governance is implemented through the creation of a Board of Trustees.
The principle of collegial management is implemented by creating the Board of Studies and the Educational and Methodological Council.
The activity of corporate and collegial management bodies is regulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the internal provisions of the CPU.
