IV. Entry 4. Reflective Writing
Reflective writing
I, Nazarov Zoir, went to school number 18 for doing my pedagogical practice. Our practice began on November,30 in 2020 and lasted till February,8 in 2021. During this period, I had both passive and active practice. For only one week I was passive with just watching the process of lesson, learning some strategies, being close with pupils, being familiar with some documents of teachers. I mastered some new methods, worked on my mistakes and learned how to control the process of the lesson. At the beginning, I had difficulty in getting acquainted with teachers and behaving to pupils according their character. Mostly, I misled the classrooms, I could not remember the names of children and it was not easy to make them silent during the lesson.
From second week till the end of the practice I was active with controlling the lesson as a teacher. I taught pupils due to plan. The themes were about film, literature and music. The book was full of new and essential vocabularies related to the themes. So, every lesson I tried to repeat all the new words in order to be recalled by pupils. Pupils were 8th form who were really curious and intelligent. I participated not only English lessons, but also all subjects of the school and found the teachers very attentive and smart. I wrote down all days’ activities that I did on my special notebook. Except this, I observed other teachers, especially English teacher’s lessons.
However, our practice was not only about in the terms of English but also it includes all subjects as math, story etc. I acquired a great number of methods about teaching lesson of math, mother tongue, chemistry and history. Furthermore, I learnt pedagogical skills from such as how to graph pupils attention and how to lead and run group how to evoke their interests to a particular subjects. During my practice I conducted lesson in English for the class of 9-"A" as a demo lesson. I choose one topic from their lesson plan and it was about 'Common nouns and proper nouns’ for the lesson I prepared different hand-outs appropriated to the age of the pupils. I assisted school teacher in preparation of demo lesson named "Season and weather” which was organized in English month. While I was practice, I was introduced with official documents concerning to education youth spirit national in depends and I learned plan of working with parents, the way of making not taking, preparing illustration materials, running class journals, giving feedback to group making class activities and etc.

I think that the practice course opened a new opportunity for any students studying to know and understand how to deal with children in even very hard moment and documents related to school work. Before I just comprehended that filling in register at school was quite effortless thing to do, but after having been in this situation, I really made out that this work would demand very huge attention to do, as it is checked every day by special persons at school. Therefore, most of time I really attached too much significance to teachers who were writing and filling in register.

To sum up, I learned so many necessary things in our pedagogical practice. However, it was not easy to be a teacher for so many pupils. Some of the teachers did not use any warming up activities in their lessons and some of the pupils were always passive and did not change their knowledge. They did not have any interest towards subjects.

Entry 3. Observation notes and Report

Observation Report

The following is a report of an English Language Teaching classroom observation. The classroom observed for the purposes of this report was how to learn and control lesson at school.

Firstly, I will begin the report by describing the general atmosphere of the classroom. When I came into the class, 14 pupils who are in the first form were sitting listening their teacher whose name was Eshbekova Nigora. All pupils were well behaved. The room was big and comfortable decorated with English atmosphere. It was clean and ready for the lesson. There are TV set, speakers and other equipment. Teacher began the lesson. She was sensible and sociable, she got pupils' attention easily. Given instructions about activities were clear and comprehendible. Almost all of them were the English language. The correlation between the teacher and pupils were in friendly atmosphere. Especially, team-based organized and all pupils acted perfectly. She worked cooperatively with each pupil and made pupils work in pairs.

To sum up, teacher was able to control the class. She managed to attract pupils' attentation. I learned how to contact with pupils, how to control the class and time management Because she used activities that were well organised and all pupils acted perfectly. She worked cooperatively with each pupil and made pupils work in pairs.
