The actuality of the research paper. Numerological phraseological units have meanings that are not transparently linked to the meanings of the individual words within them. This means that speakers must learn the meaning of these units through exposure and use, and that their meanings are often deeply embedded in the cultural values, beliefs, and traditions of a particular society. This makes the actuality of the research paper.
The degree of the inquiry of the theme: The study of phraseological units with numerological components in English and Uzbek languages is an area of research that has received relatively little attention in the field of linguistics. While there are some studies on phraseology and numerology separately, there is a lack of research that explores the intersection of these two fields. Therefore, this research aims to fill this gap by investigating the use of numerological components in phraseological units in both languages.
