The scientific novelty of the research consists of the following:
the genesis and stages of the theoretical development of the story as a literary genre in world literary studies on the example of the development of storytelling of the XX century revealed the ability of Russian and Uzbek writers to create a plot in the genre of the story based on the comparative typological classification of growth-changes in it of the creative concept of the writer;
general and particular features of the artistic style in the development of the genre of the story by A.Chekhov and A.Kakhkhara the question of the influence of the creative concept on other writers from the point of view of ensuring the plot and compositional integrity was determined on the basis of the argumentation of the importance of individual poetic skill in terms of ensuring the density of artistic components;
the difference between the genre of the story from the novel by genre features and the differentiation of storylines by branching I.Bunin, A.Chekhov, V.Rasputin, I.Turgenev, A.Kakhkhar, Sh.Kholmirzaev based on a comparative analysis of the Kholmirzaev bees and the disclosure of expressive features of the genre of the story from the point of view of artistic style;
the significance of the artistic chronotope in ensuring the integrity of narrative reality, plot and composition is revealed on the basis of the genre features of the story, its current form, conciseness and expressiveness, the poetic content embedded in it, and the clarification of the conditions of artistry through the features of the prose style of expression.
The scientific significance of the study is determined by the possibility of using the analyzed literary, artistic, scientific and theoretical sources, materials recommended as the final conclusions of the study, in studies on Uzbek literature, the skill of the writer and the theory of literature;
The practical significance of the study is determined by the possibility of using as an auxiliary material in the preparation of textbooks, teaching aids in such subjects in the higher education system as “New Uzbek Literature”, “World Literature”, “Comparative Literature”, “Theory of Literary Studies”, also at separate seminars and special courses on the work of writers.
