The main requirements on the subject “History of Uzbekistan” to the 
knowledge, and skills of bachelor. 
Bachelor must know from “History of Uzbekistan” that history of Uzbekistan is 
the inseparable of the history of humanity, about its main periods and about successive 
stages of development, their organic connection, and continuation and bachelor must 
know about the inheritance and legality of historical events. 
The subject of it, theoretical – methodological bases of the subject, its sources 
and importance and that the history of Uzbekistan is inseparable part of world history. 
That the civilization of Uzbekistan is inseparable part of civilization of 
humanity, the primitive society system and division into epochs in Central Asia. 
Formation of Uzbek state-system, Great Silk Road and its formation and 
development stages, Uzbek state system in the early Middle Ages and IX-XII 
centuries, its social and political, economical and cultural life. 
The Renaissance (epoch) in the life of Central Asian people during IX-XII 
centuries, our ancestor’s contribution into World civilization. 
Mongols conquest and struggle against their yoke. 
Jaloliddin Manguberdy, Amir Temur: elevation of the Uzbek state system during 
Jaloliddin Manguberdy, Amir Temur and the Temurids. 
Division into khanates of Turkestan, its causes and consequences. Conquest of 
Turkestan by Russia, national-liberation struggle of Turkestan people against tzarist 
colonialism.
Jadidism, Establishment of despotic Soviet power in Turkestan, and armed 
movement against it, political, economic, and social actions of the Soviet state carried 
out in Uzbekistan and its colonial essence. 
Cultural – spiritual dependence of Uzbekistan during the Soviet power. 
Repressive policy of Soviet power in Uzbekistan and its consequences. Uzbek people’s 
contribution to the victory over fascism during the II World War.
Falling into the decay of the soviet empire (1985-1991). Gaining of 
independence of Uzbekistan. Establishment of the foundations of democratic state and 
the society of citizenship. 
Political, economic and cultural development of Uzbekistan during 
independence years, integration of Uzbekistan into world commonwealth. Every 
student must know the processes which were held in the history of Uzbekistan.
Lesson hours on the subject “History of Uzbekistan” are following: lectures – 32 
hours, practical lessons – 34 hours.
