Activity 2 Work in pairs. Ask and report.
Objective: to prepare for the next activity;
Divide the class into pairs. Explain that one pupil is chosen as a new pupil. The other PP should ask him/her as many questions as s/he can to find out more information about that pupil regarding him/her as a new one. When they finish ask some PP what they have found out about the 'new' PP.
e.g. What's your name?
What do you do?
What subjects do you like?
What's your father's job?
Activity 3a Write T for True or F for False.
Objective: to read for detailed information;
The activity is like a True/False activity but now it comes before reading the text to encourage PP to predict what they are going to read about.
1 Alisher likes literature and history.
2 Rustam is short and fat.
3 Alisher's hair is dark and curly.
4 Rustam has got two brothers.
5 Rustam likes maths and English.
6 Alisher is Rustam's friend.
