AbstractThe first part of this thesis reviews the scale, industry, subject and status of China's direct investment in the five Central Asian countries in recent years, and believes that China's direct investment in the five Central Asian countries has some problems, such as unstable investment growth, excessive concentration of investment countries and industries, and unpredictable investment environment. The second part reviews China economic trade and direct investment in Europe and the United States. China has gradually increased its direct investment in the United States and Europe since 2021, but the proportion of investment in the United States and Europe is still low. The increase in the industries involved in China's foreign direct investment in the two regions reflects the ongoing and constantly strengthening process of structural adjustment in China. The ownership of China's foreign direct investment enterprises is scattered and not all of them belong to the government. Therefore, this paper proposes that in the future, we should strengthen the promotion and protection of investment in the five Central Asian countries, and further promote China's direct investment in the five Central Asian countries by adopting the strategies of differentiated investment, adjusting investment fields and promoting diversification of investment subjects. As for China's investment, the initial reaction of us and European policy makers was hesitation and hesitation. At present, they are more active in promoting capital inflows from China, but they are still worried that problems related to national security and economic risks may arise. To maintain the current investment opening situation, we need the joint efforts of Europe, the United States and China.
