Besides pop music, the younger generation nowadays is exposed to different types of music. It 
is indeed difficult to tell which is in-demand since I feel each type has roughly the same 
popularity. But I guess pop music is the most sought-after now. I’ve never met someone who 
doesn’t know pop songs.

Newspapers 
Question 1:- Do you often read newspapers? 
Answer 1:- Yes, of course, I read the newspaper. It is in my routine to read the newspaper to 
keep myself updated about current affairs. Moreover, the newspaper is the best way to pass the 
time and enhance ones reading and writing skills. 
Answer 2:- Definitely yes, because I consider myself a bibliophile person. I love to read the 
newspaper in my leisure time because it is beneficial in order to enhance my knowledge. 
Question 2:- Do you prefer to read local news or international news? 
Answer 1:- Well mostly I like to read local news because these kinds of communication have 
an immediate impact on my locality and I can keep myself aware of my locality like recently I 
read in the newspaper about a blood donation camp as well as a local festival, which the local 
council has organized. 
Answer 2:- To be very honest, I give more preference to the international newspaper, as it 
makes me aware of Canada’s education system as I am planning to go abroad for higher 
education, it is significant for me to read the newspaper. 
Question 3:- Which is more popular where you live, newspapers or magazines? 
Answer 1:- Well, the newspaper is more prevalent in my locality, but it doesn’t mean that 
people don’t like to read 
magazines
. Magazines are more popular among youngsters, especially 
about film stars, sports and also related to health. 
Answer 2:- Without any second thought newspaper is renowned in my nation due to its 
convenience as it is easy to carry and its price is pocket friendly.
