4.3. Practical part.
The details of the said survey together with the results analysis are presented in the following chapters of this thesis.Structure of the Survey:
The survey followed the structure of the theoretical part by focusing on the three main areas outlined therein:
a. Classroom language and teacher and learner talk in the English language classroom (henceforth "ELC")
b. Presentation of vocabulary and grammar
c. Translation
It would be too demanding and extensive to embrace all issues arising from these chapters

so the questionnaires concentrated on the main issues raised in each of the chapters and aimed to find the informants' attitudes towards these issues.
Altogether, the teachers were asked to complete three questionnaires and there was one questionnaire for learners. The nature of the questionnaires will be described later in this paper.
