Interactive methods in teaching foreign languages

Conclusion
English is and always has been a very diverse language. The language has become the most popular second language around the world. People is getting used to using English as a tool for many different activities in their daily lives. Communication and business are just a few examples of why
people use English between countries. This is why people are trying to learn and practice this language. For that new and effective ways and techniques of teaching speaking should be established and improved.
Interactive learning benefits are far reaching and can be the difference between a healthy, happy development of a child and the reverse, which is an insecure, low esteem poor conflict resolver. With all the tools available, both offline and online, it is much easier to integrate interactive learning to modern learning system than it was a few years ago. Teachers and students can form groups and learning sessions that attract participation and exclusive discussions that will build various social and emotional skills. Platforms like ezTalks also allow students to learn outside the classroom environment and benefit from the comfort of their own privacy. It totally eliminates bias and offers equal chance to all learners. Nevertheless, it is important that the trainers are coached on how to establish ideal interactive learning environments, and use existing tools in such a way that can help students gain the said benefits of interactive learning.
There are a number of methods of teaching English such as communicative language teaching, immersion method, project based learning method, storytelling and role play methods. These methods are relatively new and can be used especially for improving learners’ communicative competence. The first chapter provides information about different researchers’ opinions of different methods and whether these methods can be used for teaching English speaking to beginners. Disadvantages and advantages of these approaches in terms of teaching speaking are stated.
A lot of teachers might think that using interesting games and activities in very low-level classes is almost impossible, and the lack of photocopiable materials and game ideas for students under elementary in books and online reinforces this impression. The same is true for ideas on how to bring speaking and pair work into a class for beginners. So, the second chapter is about some easy to explain and play games and activities that can be used with the very limited amount of language that the students have and the basic language. Moreover, there are given some tips and techniques in order for teachers to have a successful English lesson and avoid demotivating their students.
In the last plan of the course paper, ordinary plasticine is suggested as a way of teaching English speaking. Benefits and influences of using plasticine on children and the ways of creating English atmosphere with the help of plasticine are presented. This method is mainly suitable for younger learners.
Some people think that teaching English to beginners does not need special competence and ability. In fact, teaching English at the beginning stage is not easy. The teachers should use various techniques to arouse new learner’s curiosity and attention in learning English. I think, it is up to the teacher to choose a suitable method or approach in order to meet the students’ needs.
