Agnes Fleming - Oliver's unmarried mother, Agnes was engaged to Edwin, Oliver's father, but Edwin died before they were married; Agnes was pregnant when Edwin died. Agnes gives birth to Oliver in a charity.
Edwin Leeford was first married to Monk's mother and then engaged to Agnes Fleming. Oliver's father dies in Rome, demanding the inheritance he wants to give to Oliver and Agnes.

Mr. Brownlow is the man who was Oliver's adoptive father at the end of the novel, abducted by Bates at the beginning of the Brownlow novel . 

Losborne doctor and a close partner of the Mayli family, Losburn cares for Oliver because Oliver Mayle was shot in the house. She later takes care of him when Rose becomes ill with it.

Fagin’s novel, Fegin’s “boys,” is responsible for his thieves, whose exploitation pays for his life in London. Fajin tries to make Oliver a thief, but fails;

Nancy Sykes ’romantic partner, Nancy initially returns Oliver to Phage, but later regrets it and tries to protect Oliver as best he can. After a night of talking with Rose and Brownle Rose Miley - Mrs. Miley's nephew, Rose helps Nurse Oliver recover, but later falls ill on her own. Rose fell in love with Harry.¹
Harry's cousin, Miley Rose, is ready for Harry to have a "wonderful" career in politics, but he refuses to do so and takes the life of a village priest to marry Rose.
Mr. Bamble, the rustic beadle in Oliver’s home village, is another minor antagonist in Mr. Bamble’s novel - he hates Oliver and eventually marries Mrs. Bamble to run a charity house.
