Maqolada Ustyurt regionida (Borsakelmas botiqligida) noan'anaviy antiklinal bo’lmagan uglevodorod tutqichlarinii joylashish
xususiyatlari ko'rib chiqiladi. Ustyurt regionida uglevodorod konlarining paydo bo'lishida salbiy omillar (fatsial u’zgarubchanlik,
monolit qumtosh qatlamlarining lateral yaxlilligining yomonligi, ularning linzasimon shaklda tarqalishi, qumli-alevorolitli
jinslarning asosan kichik kollektorlik xossalariga egaligi) keltirilgan. Muallif Barsakelmes botiqlilgida seysmik tadqiqotlarni
murakkab tuzilishga ega strukturaviy bo'lmagan uglevodorod tutqichlarini qidirishga yo'naltirishni taklif qiladi.

Introduction. The geological study of Ustyurt using seismic exploration and deep drilling was started in the late 50s of
the last century with the purpose of searching for oil, gas and water resources. The main features of the tectonics and structure of
the section of the Jurassic-Quaternary cover, Permian-Triassic and partially Paleozoic were elucidated. At the same time, it is
necessary to note the great unevenness in the placement of works and the degree of geological exploration of different parts of
the area [1,2,3,8,9,10].
In 2006-2011, OAO Gazprom began systematic geological and geophysical work and deep drilling at seven investment
blocks in Ustyurt: Shakhpakhti, Agyin, Akchalak, Urga (western part), Kuanysh, Aktumsuk and Nasambek. The total area of all
investment blocks was 38.1 thousand km2. However, out of 17 areas put into drilling, a positive result was obtained only in the
Dzhel area (2009), 16 areas were withdrawn from drilling with negative results. The area productivity coefficient is difficult to
estimate reliably, because negative results for many areas cannot be considered final. The current exploration success rate for
wells drilled by Gazprom is 0.06, for the Aral Sea consortium – 0,20, and for the entire area of Ustyurt is 0,16.
