ABSTRACT

The development o f the works,  the fact that the public loves to read them,  is a sign o f the rise  o f 

cultural life. Pu Songling,  a medieval novelist and novelist,  has preserved the traditional features 

o f the period in  which  he  lived and worked,  with  a  special place  in  history.  The  origins  o f the 

novel go back to folklore.  The novella by Pu Sungling has a complex history o f development.

INTRODUCTION

The development of the works, the fact that the public  loves to read them,  is  a  sign of the rise of 

cultural life.  Pu  Sungling,  a medieval novelist and novelist,  has preserved the traditional features 

of the  period  in which  he  lived  and  worked,  with  a  special  place  in  history.  The  origins  of the 

novel  go  back to  folklore.  The  novella  by  Pu  Songling  has  a  complex history  of development. 

The  emergence  of works  is  a  sign  of the  rise  of cultural  life.  The  first  literary  sources  were 

written during the Zhou Empire.

Main part

According  to  sources,  the  first  source  is  "Biography  of the  Son  of Heaven  Mu  "3,  which  dates 

back  to  the  V-IV  century  BC.  From  this  period  to  the  XVI-XVII  centuries,  many  works  were 

created,  many  sources  were  lost without  a trace,  destroyed  as  a  result  of revolts.  Nevertheless, 

there are many works that have survived to the present day.
