Workshop Overview 
Intended Audience 
This workshop is for new DFCS County Directors. 
Background Information This workshop identifies and explores the leadership qualities 
that will contribute to the success of new County Directors. The 
content enhances and supports participants’ ability to lead in 
the areas that will be discussed in Workshops 2 through 4 of 
the New County Director Curriculum: Program and Workload 
Management, Personnel Management, and Budget and Fiscal 
Management. 
Workshop Goal 
By the end of this workshop, participants will have the ability to 
achieve the following goal:

goals and to support the mission and vision of DFCS.
