Summary 1 is correct because it provides accurate information 
about the subject:
‘relatively little is known about the atypical or disordered eating 
patterns that may be associated with overweight and obesity’ 
and ‘many of them are not included among the criteria that 
define eating disorders in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of 
Mental Disorders’
In Summary 2 the information is wrong: ‘numerous attempts’ are 
not mentioned.
11 Tell learners they are going to reread part of the review 
of Learning and Talent Development. Refer to Activity 4 if 
necessary. Encourage learners to notice the language used 
by the reviewer. The language forms are typical examples 
of ‘hedging’.

This part is different in term of its content. It contains all the 
negative points made by the reviewer. The language here is 
different too: it is more uncertain in its tone.
