Learning outcomes: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: – ask and answer the question “What‟s his/her name?”; – introduce family members; – name five main colours (red, yellow, green, blue, pink); – pronounce [b] and [l]. Type of the lesson: non-standard, mixed
Method of the lesson: group work, pair work
Equipment: Textbook; the DVD of the book; puppets.
The Procedure of the lesson: I. Organizing moment: - Greeting.

II. Pre-Activity
Activity 1 Listen and sing.
Objective: to sing the song
Play song from the DVD. Sing with pupils III. Main Part
Activity 2 Play “What’s his name?”.
Objective: to introduce the question “What’s her/his name?”
STEP 1: Say that the pupils will play a game. Then play the DVD and ask the pupils to watch it carefully.
STEP 2: Now ask the pupils to play. For this you need to appoint the leader. S/he stands with his back to the class.
Then call up the other pupil silently. S/he should touch the back of the leader and take his/her seat silently.
The leader turns to the class and the class repeats after you „What is her name?‟ or „What is her name?‟ in chorus. The leader should guess who has touched him/her, and answer „Her/his name is ...‟. The class answer „Yes‟ or „No‟.
