Entrepreneurship in farming
organising:  This  means  preparing  to  implement  the 
plan;  getting  everything  in  order.  It  includes  obtaining 
the inputs and materials necessary to put the plan into 
effect.  Successful  entrepreneurial  farmers  are  good 
implementers. They  are  determined  and  methodical  in 
following their plans.
leading:  The  successful  entrepreneurial  farmer  is  a 
good  leader.  This  involves  motivating,  enabling  and 
drawing  out  the  talent  of  people  to  achieve  the  goals 
of the farm business. Motivation is done through good 
communication;  building  of  trust  and  confidence, 
creating  a  climate  that  encourages  good  performance 
and developing the capabilities, skills and competencies 
of staff.
