Competitor Analysis
While the state of national tea production is stable and improving, some outstanding issues limiting the development of the industry still require urgent solutions. First, the area of tea gardens is large and the proportion of old tea gardens is very high. At present, the area of tea plantations over 30 years old in China is about 1 million m², accounting for 31% of the total area. According to the results of the survey, the average yield of old tea gardens is low, and the incidence of pests and diseases is high and severe, which seriously affects the quality and efficiency of tea. Second, production costs continued to rise. Picking spring tea mainly relies on manual labor. With the countryside empty, the labor force shrinks and ages, labor productivity is not high, and costs continue to rise. In addition, the green organic industry has become a development trend.
