The aim of the research work is to shed light on the processes of historical reconstruction of the objects found in the different rooms of the Pop monument (Munchogtepa) of the early middle century.
The object of the research work is the archaeological study of the ancient city of Pop (Balandtepa).
Scientific novelty of the research work is as follows:
Archaeologist B. Matboboev's doctoral dissertation entitled “Qadimgi Farg‘onaning ilk o‘rta asrlar davri madaniyati (V–VIII asrlar arxeologik manbalarining tarixiy tahlili asosida)” has been revealed as an important source of information on the Munchoqtepa variety rooms.
The material and spiritual materials of the early medieval period of Ferghana, in particular, the objects found in the various rooms of the Pop monument (Munchoqtepa) were studied by comparison with ethnographic sources.
The excellent preservation of Munchoqtepa saganas, burial customs in them are shown.
A general description of the archaeological complex of Munchoqtepa was given, and the conditions of repair, restoration and storage of the materials found in the tombs and tombs were analyzed.
Scientific and practical significance of the research results:
This study should be considered as one of the scientific conclusions added to the research works on the study of the history and culture of ancient times. The practical importance of the dissertation work is that Pop necropolis, a monument of the early Middle Ages, which played an important role in the material and spiritual life of the peoples of the world, was studied in a general way, from which the history of the World and Uzbekistan, Archeology It can be used to create teaching-methodical sets for fundamentals and other historical subjects, as well as to prepare for seminar classes by students studying history.
Implementation of the research results. The results of the research were presented in 1 international scientific conference, including "Issues of the history of statehood in Central Asia (regarding the study of the ruins of the city of Pop)" (Fergana / Uzbekistan, 2022), in 1 local magazine, including "Qadimgi Pop shahar harobalari o‘rganilishining ayrim masalalari" (Tashkent / Uzbekistan, 2022) " was approved.
The structure and volume of the dissertation. Structure of the thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, six paragraphs, conclusion, bibliography and applications. The research part of the thesis is 86 pages.
