Stage 1 is to give respondents students a quick overview of Jack London's life 
and career. 
Stage 2: arranging a question and answer session with student replies based on 
Jack London's "Love of Life." 
Stage 3 involves completing a brief practical task on the material in small 
groups. 
Step 4: based on the debate, determine which groups participated most 
effectively and actively. 
Step 5: Give recognition to teams who engaged effectively and actively. 
Note : Students were given the work in English almost a month before to the 
organizing of the competition of concepts titled "The Law of Life" based on Jack 
London's "Love of life" [5]. 
Criteria and measures for assessing the performance of small groups 
I. For oral tasks, you receive 1 point for each correct, complete, and correctly 
emphasized response. 
2. Two points are awarded if the response is correct but incomplete but 
correctly highlighted. 
3. If the emphasis is incorrect and the solution is incorrect, you lose 1 point. 
2. Regarding writing assignments 
1. The job is fully solved for each circumstance, and the responses are written 
if they are accurately stated on the forms - 4 points. 
2. If there are more than three errors in the writing of the answers, but the 
assignment's solution is still not complete- 3 points. 
3. If there are more than 5 errors in the written responses yet the assignment's 
solution is still not complete - 2 points. 
4. If there are more than 7 errors in the written responses but the assignment's 
solution is still not complete - 1 point. 
5. If there are more than 9 errors in the written responses while the assignment's 
solution is still incomplete for each condition - 0
