Hennessy, Ruthven, and Brindley (2005) reported that only when they
believed it improved student learning compared to other approaches did teachers
use technology. They believe that the commitment of teachers to integrate
technology is to "recognize the educational value and believe in the technology's
transformative potential." Technology can help keep track of the process and
comprehension of students ' thought, help identify misconceptions of students, help
monitor progress and level of engagement of students, and help provide quick
feedback.
The task of the educator in a system of teaching and learning enabled by
technology is to focus on their experience and enhance it. Reflection by teachers on
the use of technology in a mathematics classroom is an important component that
not only helps improve their classroom practice but also helps conceptualize their
role in a context where technology is used (Habre, 2007). The role of an educator
when using software is more important and demanding (Habre, 2007). Borba and
Schef (2003) analyzed dynamic classroom activities to focus on analyzing graphs of
mathematical functions using motion detectors and graphing software. They
proposed that relations between students and daily interactions can be deepened by
conditions that simultaneously expose phenomena and their modeling.
Technology can be a useful tool for promoting student participation in
mathematics and education (Friday Institute, 2019). In particular, the use of
technology in teaching and learning mathematics has become more essential with
the availability of new math software or software that can be downloaded from the
internet free of charge (Abu Bakar, Kamariah, 2010).In today's world, the use of
technology in classrooms is thought to have a positive impact on the success of
