Article 14 of the Convention notes that the World

Heritage Committee "shall be assisted by a Secretariat
appointed by the Director-General" of UNESCO. Since

the documentation for the Committee and its
Bureau and has the responsibility for the
implementation of their decisions.

(ii) the same type of property which is
characteristic of the geographical zone
(iii) the same geomorphological formation, the same
biogeographic province, or the same ecosystem
type
and provided that it is the series as such, and not
its components taken individually, which is of outstanding
universal value (UNESCO February 1996: 6, Paragraph 19).
