• The following categories of normative documents on standardization are used in the Republic of Uzbekistan:
• international (interstate, regional) standards;
• State standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• standards of the organization;
• national standards of foreign countries.Standardization normative documents also include standardization rules, norms, and technical-economic information classifications.In accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 12, 2018 "On measures for the further development of technical regulation, standardization, certification and metrology systems" No. and on the basis of the state enterprise "Information Center" the state institution "Standardization, Certification and Technical Regulation Scientific-Research Institute" (Institute of Standards) was established.
• Based on this decision, coordination of the activities of the branch technical committees on standardization of the state institution "Scientific-research institute of standardization, certification and technical regulation", regulatory documents on standardization, including economic entities based on the contract and other organizations' applications for development and implementation, as well as technical regulation, standardization, certification, and was designated as the base organization for personnel retraining and qualification improvement in the field of metrology.
