2.2 Solar Heat Gain Coefficient
The solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) represents the degree to which radiant heat is transmitted to the room by the heat transmitted directly through the glass and the heat absorbed into the glass. For a clear glass with a thickness of 0.3 mm with a SHGC of 1.0, it is expressed as a numerical value indicating how much solar heat was acquired by a specific glass. SHGC has a value between 0.0 and 1. If the SHGC is small, solar acquisition is lowered and eventually more solar energy is cut off.

The shielding coefficient (SC) indicates the degree to which heat energy generated from solar radiation is transmitted to the inside through the glass. It is expressed as a value of 1.0 to 0.0. If 1.0, it means that the solar heat is completely transmitted, and if 0.0, it means that the solar heat is completely blocked.

Since the shielding coefficient cannot represent radiant heat transmitted to a room generated by solar energy, it has recently been replaced by using a solar heat acquisition coefficient.

3. Annual energy simulation overview
3.1 Design Builder overview
Currently, maintenance costs are considered to be more important than building initial costs, that is, sustainability of buildings is considered as an important part. Therefore, this study used Degisn Builder v4.7, one of the energy evaluation tools.

The Design Builder program combines the advantages of DOE-2.1, Blast, or esp-r, the representative analysis program of the hourly dynamic energy analysis program, making it one of the most advanced third-party programs of the EnergyPlus program being developed in the United States. 5)

Design Builder is a tool for measuring the comfort and energy of buildings developed by Design Builder in the UK. It is linked with EnergyPlus and SBEM to use energy consumption of buildings, the interpretation of various environmentally friendly building elements such as lighting and facility equipment performance, is provided as numerical and visual data. In the air conditioning section, the compact HVAC provided by Degisn Builder makes it easy to apply to general cooling and heating systems, and you can set the system you want through direct modeling of the facility system. Through this, the total energy consumption calculated can be viewed as a result of annual, monthly, daily, and hourly. In addition to the elements and templates provided by Degisn Builder itself, there is an advantage that you can import the materials you need through the library. In addition, the UK's eco-friendly building certification system (BREEAM) provides credibility to builders as a certified building energy analysis tool.6)

The effects of window area, glass performance, and solar heat acquisition coefficient on the cooling and heating energy consumption of buildings were analyzed according to regional climate.

3.2 Overview of buildings to be analyzed
The target building was selected based on the 84 ㎡ apartment house, which is the size of the national housing. This apartment house is a 29-story south-facing tower-type building with 4 generations. is the outline of the target MDU, and
is the target model and shows the floor plan of the base layer of the MDU.
