Situation. You have come to visit a doctor. You have a sore throat and want the doctor to help you.
P: Good morning!
D: Good morning! Come in! Sit down, please! What's the matter?
P: I've got a sore throat and a headache.
D: Have you got a temperature?
P: Yes, I have got.
D: Open your mouth. I want to look at your throat. Oh, it looks sore.
D: Can you give me pills?
Р: An injection is better than pills.
D: Will I recover, doctor?
P: Yes. If you rest today.
D: Thank you, doctor. Good-bye.
P: Good-bye.


4. Debate “While – Activity”
The teacher divides pupils into 2 groups using “Choose thesun-beam” activity and divides the groups. The divided groups get their names. Group 1 is Health. Group 2 is Wealth.
The teacher explains to the divided groups that they are going to have a competition in filling the gap quickly choosing the right form of the modal verb «should» or «shoud not» for being healthy and gives them the cards and 8 minutes to discuss the task. After the discussion in groups pupils put the cards in the correct places - around the different faces as the sun on the blackboard.

At the end of the competition teacher makes a conclusion. She checks the sun-beams. The faces as the sun and sun-beams show pupils’ opinions about bad and good habits for being healthy.


5. Revising activity. Remember


Explaining the rule about the silent letters in «wrist», « knee», « thumb», « tongue» and the pronunciation of «сh» as «k» in stomach.
