Adjectives
An 
adjective 
modifies a noun or a pronoun by limiting its meaning. Adjectives include
the articles a, an, and the. A and an are 
indefinite 
articles; the is a 
definite 
article.
Because they modify nouns, possessive nouns and some possessive pronouns are
considered adjectives as well.
The raging river roars through this narrow gorge.
Al’s used car resembles my car.

proper adjective
is formed from a proper noun and begins with a capital letter. Proper
adjectives are often created by using the following suffixes: -an, -ian, -n, -ese, and -ish.

Many adjectives have different forms to indicate their degree of comparison.
