GRANTING OF ETHNOGRAPHISM IN THE DICTIONARY OF «CHAROGHI HIDAYAT» Juraev Ilyos Ruzikulovich, PhD researcher Samarkand State University Samarkand, Uzbekistan E-mail:jorayevilyos1@gmail.com Abstract In world linguistics, extensive study of the ethnographic lexicon, which includes linguistic and cultural information about the material and spiritual culture, lifestyle, national traditions and values of different peoples, and the delivery of ethnographies, which are a unique treasure of languages, to older generations have become relevant since ancient times. From this point of view, the study of lexical-semantic features of ethnographies based on dictionaries is one of the important factors in the study of ethnographies of people's history. There are customs, traditions, ceremonies, and rituals that have been formed over the centuries and have become part of the culture of peoples, and they are also reflected in classic lexicographical sources. In particular, this article is devoted to the study of the customs and ethnographic lexicon of the peoples of India, Iran and Movoroonnahr, which is included in the dictionary «Charoghi hidayat» by Alikhan Orzu. It is known that the study of lexical-semantic features of ethnographies based on historical dictionaries is one of the important factors in the study of ethnographies of the history of nations [6; 3]. By researching the historical-social and linguistic foundations of ethnography in world languages, it is possible to gain knowledge about the science, national language, history, customs, traditions, cultural heritage and life values of a particular nation, and in this regard, the use of dictionaries and historical written sources are incomparable. In particular, there are traditions, customs, customs, traditions, rituals, rituals that have been formed over the centuries and have become part of the culture of peoples, and they are also reflected in classic lexicographical sources. In turn, the «Charogi hidayat» dictionary, which we aim to study, explains various words that include the traditions of the peoples of India, Iran and Movoroonnahr. «Charoghi hidayat» is an explanatory dictionary of lexical and phraseological units compiled by the Indian lexicographer Sirojiddin Alikhan Orzu in 1743. It contains 2075 works of Persian writers from the time of the author and the works of Persian writers from ancient times and mainly in various fields used in colloquial speech, Persian as well as Arabic, Hindi and Turkish words are explained.
