FIRST BACTERIA - FLU
The flu, short for influenza, is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness and sometimes lead to hospitalization or even death. The flu is more than just a bad cold, often coming on suddenly and resulting in symptoms that can include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, fatigue, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults. Children get easily become ill with the Flu. Influenza, commonly known as the flu, is caused by viruses that can affectpeople of all ages, including children. There are a few ways that children can contract the flu :

1. Exposure to Infected Individuals: Children can catch the flu by being in close contact with someone who has the flu. This often happens in schools, daycare centers, or at home.

2. Touching Contaminated Surfaces: Flu viruses can survive on surfaces for a few hours, and if a child touches a contaminated surface (like a doorknob or a toy) and then touches their mouth or nose, they can become infected.

3. Inhaling Respiratory Droplets: When an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks, they release tiny droplets that can land in the mouths or noses of people nearby. This is another way the flu virus can spread.

The SECOND BACTERIA – SARS

SARS, or Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, is not caused by bacteria, but rather by a specific type of coronavirus called SARS-CoV. Coronaviruses are a type of virus, not bacteria, and they are responsible for a range of illnesses from the common cold to more severe diseases such as SARS.
SARS, which first emerged in 2002 in the Guangdong province of southern China, is known for causing severe pneumonia and respiratory distress. It is a contagious and potentially fatal respiratory illness. SARS-CoV spreads primarily through respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
