5.1. Tourist - recreational resources and their signs.

Today, the tourism industry, like many industries, is developing rapidly. The tourism business cannot be formed only with the available capital, technology, and skilled workers. To do this, you must first have tourist resources.
The basis of tourist resources is recreational resources. Recreational resources are a combination of different components that serve to meet the needs of human recreation and treatment. Recreational resources are divided into two groups according to their origin and use: natural and anthropogenic recreational resources.
Natural recreational resources include beautiful natural landscapes, consisting of a combination of regional natural components. They can be rivers, lakes, beaches, flora of the foothills, a variety of landscapes, healing springs with mineral water. In addition, large areas for recreation, sports, hunting, green areas around the city, parks and gardens or nature reserves and national parks are also natural recreational resources.
Anthropogenic recreational resources include historical, archeological and artistic monuments, monuments, museums and social objects that can be used for recreational purposes, created by human intelligence in different periods. In addition, recreational resources can be divided according to the following main characteristics :
- landscape - climatic feature;
- potential reserves of natural resources ;
- attractiveness and tourist importance;
- convenience and usability ;
- landscape and ecological features;
- socio-demographic feature.

5.2. Importance of assessment of tourist resources in tourism .

Tourist resources are in the form of various natural, cultural-historical, as well as socio-economic objects, which can be the basis for the provision of tourist services.

resources. In addition, tourist resources consist of a set of natural and man-made objects that form the basis for the creation of tourist products.

VSBogolyubov and VPOrlovskaya (Economics of tourism. M.2005,151p.) Identified the following main features that stand out in tourist resources:
- Convenience (attractiveness);
- Climatic conditions;
- Level of learning ;
- Importance of tourism ;
- Landscape and ecological features;
- Socio-demographic characteristics;
- Potential reserves;
- Accessibility, etc.
Tourist resources are used for health, tourism, sports and dating purposes. In addition, tourist resources can be conditionally divided into two groups: natural and infrastructural. Both of the above groups play an important role in the development of the tourism business. It is impossible to use the potential of any high tourist resource without communication, means of communication, services.
As tourism develops in each region, there will be tourist resources used in tourism activities in that region. These resources can be considered the basis for the organization of tourism. However, the resource potential of each region varies in terms of quantity and quality of resources. Therefore, a comprehensive study, assessment of tourist resources, analysis of opportunities for their use in tourism activities in general determines the prospects for tourism development in a particular region. For this reason, it is very important to evaluate the existing tourist resources in all aspects when using them in tourism activities . There are also different approaches to the assessment of tourist resources. The economic value of tourist resources directly depends on the type of resource, its quality, location, technology of use and the state of the environment. In this case, their evaluation plays a key role. It is possible to use them only through assessment, to establish a standard of protection.
