Abdellatif Miraoui
received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from
Haute Alsace University, Colmar, France, in 1988, the Ph.D. degree in electri-
cal engineering from the University of Franche Comte Belfort, Belfort, France,
in 1992, and the Doctor Honoris Causa degree from Technical University of
Cluj-Napoca, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Currently, he is a Professor and the Head of the Electrical Engineering De-
partment, Technological University of Belfort-Montb´eliard (UTBM), Belfort,
France, where he is the Head of the Integrated Actuator Research Team, Elec-
tronic, Electrotechnical, and Systems Laboratory.
Dr. Miraoui is the editor of International Journal of Electrical Engineering
in Transportation (IJEET).
