Ielts exam Tips

- Analyse the question (underline keywords).

-  Brainstorm  ideas  (find  three  main  ideas,  plus  three  examples  for  each

idea).

-  Choose  the  best  ideas  (number  main  ideas  one,  two,  three  to  match  the

body paragraphs).

Example planning for the above question includes three main ideas:

- Communication – email, voice, chat

- Business – advertising, sales, work processes

- Entertainment – movies, games, social media

Each of these three ideas becomes a body paragraph.

communication.

- Sentence two, three, four – Supporting Information

For  example,  people  who  want  to  work  in  another  country  will  be  able  to

use the internet to email their family and friends. In addition, internet users

can use voice over internet to speak with people around the world, often for

free. Moreover, chatting is a convenient method of keeping in contact with

someone while you are performing other tasks on the computer.

Therefore,  it  is  clear  that  there  are  numerous  ways  to  use  the  internet  for

In conclusion, the internet has become a dominant form of media due to the
