1Implicit and explicit semantic structures

CONCLUSION

Having considered the sentential categories of predicativity and modality, we determined their meaning and categorical function. Predicativity is the key constitutive feature of a sentence, relating information to reality and thus forming a unit intended for communication. And modality is a category that expresses different types of relation of the utterance to reality.
Having studied the existing ways of complicating the predicate, and classifying secondary semi-predicative structures by function, place in the sentence, by structure and semantic meaning, comparing a number of English and Russian sentences, we showed the semantic integrity of the sentence and came to the conclusion that introductory constructions are an integral part of the semantic structure sentences, although they do not create a syntactic connection with any of its members.
And, indeed, the semantic function of parenthesis plays a big role in sentences, both when translating from English and during communication in a foreign language. With it, you can express your opinion, attitude, correctly draw up a sequence of thoughts and generally express all possible subjective assessments. Today, in our rapidly developing world, we often come into contact with other cultures and must be able to communicate with representatives of other linguistic communities, and competently use language resources, which are one of such means to do this.
