The librarian for the children's section of the City Library will have a variety of responsibilities. 
Duties will include planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating children's programs and 
services. The librarian will be responsible for building and maintaining the library's children's 
collection as well as supervising the staff of the children's section. The candidate for this position 
must have a bachelor's or master's of library science degree from an accredited library school 
and 3 to 5 years' professional experience. This person should enjoy working with children and 
should also be able to supervise adults. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and 
experience.
