ANNOTATION: This article plans at investigating the importance of utilizing materials in 
teaching culture:literature,newspaper,TV, iternet and picture.Many people believe that this is 
very significant matter and many teachers can not make decision easilly.They search the 
internet or look through some kind of books newspaper and they always think about is it 
appropriate for may students' religion,tradition,nationality,mentality or not.I will state my 
opinion and also add inferences of scholars about this matter.

INTRODUCTION.The first thing I should mention is that culture is very import factor which 
can effect people easily. we must teach this subject and our students must learn without any 
doubt. Because they may go abroud for master degree or travel or for piligrimage and they 
may face some kind of culture shock or difficulties. They may use or realize body language or 
gesture in wrong way.Therefore,they should learn and investigate other culture,tradition, and 
certainly every elements of culture. While learning another culture they should put margine 
for them because this culture may impact this person's prespective.Let us imagine you live in 
foreign country and you are Muslim and you are one member of this society and every day 
you face the representitives of other religion..At that time you should have margine.Oterwise 
their culture elements especially products I mean their literature,newspaper,picture and etc 
may influence your idea.At the same time choosing appropriate materials,activities and tasks 
are very important in teaching procces.Every teacher must pay more attention selecting 
materials for students or pupils because undeserved films ,articles or others may form
incorrect concept in your students' or pupils' mentality. 
One of the most effective ways of teaching culture is the utilize of authentic materials.These 
authentic source supply precious chance for students to gain insights into target culture.Mass 
media such as TV,internet,press can reserve mant precious materials for discovering a new 
culture make our students more culturally competent. 
Literature . If you want to learn another nation's culture,tradition,life style,holidays,literature 
has great impact and role.Bucause literature reflect everything which releted to nations. 
While teaching culture ,literature is main sourse and you can find informations which you 
need.Teachers and learners of foreign language have always faced a demanding task of 
learning and teaching culture and despite the fact that diverse methods have been proposed 
to teach culture in language classes, the difficulties have not been completely removed. One
