INRTODUCTION
The comparative analysis of the distinctive characteristics of phonemic analysis of vowels, one of the most prominent, contentious, and fundamental phonetic topics, is the focus of the course paper. As speaking is the most fundamental form of communication, speaking is identical with learning the language. The most crucial aspects of speaking overall are the components of oral communication, which include pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. Every language has a unique manner of pronouncing words in order to convey ideas clearly during conversation.
An incorrect pronunciation could change the meaning being communicated and result in mistakes. A language's quality can improve with good communication, which can be supported by accurate pronunciation. The phoneme sound, however, differs between languages. In one language, a sound might be a phoneme, but it might not be in another. The link between spelling and pronunciation is the same in some languages, and the number of phonemes employed in the language is equal to the number of letters in the alphabet (Kelly, 2004, p. 7).
Due to the one-to-one correspondence between spelling and pronunciation, it is referred to as a phonetic language. Every letter of the alphabet corresponds to one sound in Uzbekistann, and each letter serves as a phonetic symbol for a particular sound. Fortis e and lenis e are only found in the letter e. For instance, the word buku is made up of the letters b, u, k, and u. (book). Buku is pronounced as the alphabet's first few letters, /bUkU/. In the word bebek, the letter e is pronounced as /bebek/.
When a word is spoken, the letter sound in the alphabet sounds exactly like the word. In other words, the sound of the letters is consistently uttered in Uzbekistann. For instance, the letter U is always pronounced as /U/, just like the other letters. A larger range of communication is made possible by some linguistic advancements, the development of technology through the internet, and a higher demand for English as a global language for native and non-native speakers. English has sputtered along to the other languages because it could not be separated from technology.
English obstructs Uzbekistann in favor of technological advancement. Unquestionably, native Uzbekistann speakers have welcomed English as a second language. Uzbekistan is circled in the expanding circle (non-dependent), where English is learned as EFL, according to Kachruvian Circle, which is concerned with the use of English in communication (Crystal, 2003).
Because English is a global language in terms of its roles and users around the world, it is also far more accessible to individuals as a foreign language because they can see, read, and listen to it (Low, 2015). But English is widely spoken and understood in Uzbekistan. Nowadays, English is spoken everywhere in society. Unfortunately, certain English pronunciation errors could be heard in public. Due to the fact that all non-native English speakers add their mother tongue-like accent to the English pronunciation, some of the mispronunciations were impacted by the L1.
English mispronunciation is a common occurrence in society. Some English words that were mispronounced were invite, check, paste, entrepreneur, mild, paradise, online, mouse, finger, support, and orchid. These words were pronouced as /InfIt/, /eks@maIn/, /p2ste/, /enterpren@r/, /mIl/, /p2r2dIs/, /6nlen/, /m6s/, /fInjer / Seidlhofer (as reported in Carter & Nunan, 2001, p. 61) proposed that the errors made by non-native English speakers of various linguistic origins while pronouncing English are systematic and not unintentional. Furthermore, people just learn new words; they have no interest in learning how to pronounce them properly. English is really taught in official education settings starting in lower high school.
Then, for EFL learners, teaching pronunciation is of the utmost importance (Ambalegin& Hulu, 2019). Speaking English fluently embodies proper pronunciation and intonation, which has a direct impact on clear conversational communication (Zhang & Yin, 2009). However, many English professors do not take this into account, and after much teaching content that is still unclear, pronunciation is only a small portion of the overall course grade. The alphabet is used worldwide. Every sound in every human language could be represented if there were enough symbols. The alphabet is clear-cut. Every sign would correspond to a sound, and every sound to a symbol.
There is no set pattern to how English is spoken. The majority of sound symbols are the same letter that is used to spell English words, although some are distinct. The pronunciation is inconsistent in English. The appearance of a sound in various letters is not shown in the pronunciation book for EFL learners; only the phonetic symbols are displayed. Understanding how one sound appears in other letters is crucial. By combining some letters into a single vowel sound, this study looked at how vowel sounds appeared in various letters. A highly difficult work is learning how to speak a language correctly. As with other difficult learning activities, the learning process can be sped up if the activity is organized in some way.
The aim of the present course paper is Phonemic analysis of vowels
The aim of the research work puts forward tasks to fulfill such as:

    • to define main distinctive situations of vowels

    • to study the main features of vowel sounds

    • to analyze the vowels according to their phonemic structures

The main language material of the given course paper is taken from different books on theoretical and practical phonetics as such English Phonetics. A Theoretical Course (by Abduazizov A.A) T., 2006, A Theoretical Course of English Phonetics (Leontyeva S.F). M., 2002.Theoretical Phonetics of English (Sokolova M.A. and others) M., 1994, A Manual of English Phonetics and Phonology (Paul Skandera, Peter Burleigh) and many others.
The theoretical value of the present course paper is that the theoretical part of the work can be used in delivering lectures on the Theoretical Phonetics of Modern English.
The practical significance of the present course paper is that the practical results gained by investigating the given problem may be used as examples or mini-tests in seminars and practical lessons on English phonetics.
Introduction provides with brief information about whole course paper and includes the problems that are going to research and discuss in the project. Moreover, this course paper points out the aim of this research, tasks of the work, scientific novelty, theoretical value, practical value and other peculiarities and features of the course paper.
The chapter 1 focuses on the general information about Vowel sounds we are given, and their usage in Theoretical Phonetics.
The chapter 2 is mostly focused on the set of activities’ analysis are organized on phonetic criteria on the basis of the examples from the literary work I have read.
Structurally the present research work consists of four parts – Introduction, Two chapters, Conclusion and Bibliography.
