Special Agent is in the car behind the steering wheel. The 

streets of Monaco are seen through the side window. The 

car drives into the tunnel. The view is seen through the 

windshield.

EXT. RIVIERA. DAY

 

 

The sea is waving calmly; the beech is almost empty. 

There are a few people wading in the sea.

EXT. MONTE CARLO STREETS. DAY

 

 

Very clean Black Mercedes S600 (140) with tinted windows in 

black, drives through streets of Monaco. Mirko (aged 35) 

sits in the back seat in a very elegant white shirt, black 

trousers, elegant watch and sunglasses in golden frame. His 

bodyguard (aged 40) sits next to the driver in the front 

seat.

 

 

In a center of the panel shelf, of the car, a sculpture 

model of Pink Panther is placed. Detailed image of sculpture 

is zooms in. Bodyguard is looking around through slightly 

open window.

 

 

The car stops at the traffic light. Next to it, black 

Ferrari stops. A blond woman (aged 40) is behind the 

steering wheel. She is wearing large size diamond necklace, 

diamond bracelet and diamond ring. Bodyguard watches her 

jewelry with a precision and zooming in. We don’t see the 

woman’s face. Just neck, arm and hand. She holds her hand 

above the drivers door and ticking a mirror with her red 

polished fingernail. Green light is on.

 

 

Black Mercedes drives slowly towards a shopping area. 

Bodyguard attends exteriors of exclusive jewelry shops, 

and slim shop guards next to the entrances.

Couples are passing by wearing diamonds. Mirko pleasantly 

follows them. The next traffic light. Green light.

EXT. THE BAR IN THE YACHT CLUB. DAY

 

 

A quick young bartender is working behind the bar. Special 

Agent is sitting alone at a separate table, smoking, there 

is a glass with a drink on the table.

 

 

Black Mercedes stops in a notable distance from the yacht 

club bar. A man is coming along the shore. Mirko stops in 

front of the Yacht club bar turns his face to the direction 

of the bar and walks to the Special Agent in a sporty tread.

 

 

MIRKO

 

I recognized you.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

 

I recognized you from the 

distance because of your tread.

 

 

Mirko smiles and takes off sunglasses.

 

 

MIRKO

 

I took interest in your career.

 

 

He offers his hand. Special Agent stands up and shakes 

his hand. Special Agent smiles. Mirko smiles widely.

 

 

MIRKO (CONT’D)

 

It's nice talking to you.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

My pleasure. Please, take a seat.

 

 

Mirko is taking a seat.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT (CONT’D)

 

Would you like something to drink?

 

 

MIRKO

 

Sure.

 

 

Special Agent waves to the bartender and he 

comes immediately.

 

 

MIRKO (CONT’D)

 

Glass of water please.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

As I see you like sports.

 

 

Mirko smiles. He puts sunglasses on, looks in the 

direction of the sea. The sea is calm and empty.

I saw your men. In the city, in 

the casino, in the bars.

 

 

 

EXT. MONTE CARLO CENTER. DAY.

 

 

Citizens, tourists are passing by. There are two men (aged 

35 and 37) among them.

How do they walk among other people 

thinking that they look lost.

EXT. THE CENTRAL SQUARE OF MONTE CARLO. IN FRONT OF 

THE JEWELRY SHOP. MIDDAY.

 

 

Two elegantly dressed sporty men (aged 35 and 37) walk 

among other people.

SPECIAL AGENT

 

 

How casually they passed the 

jewelry shop in the central 

square. The gracefulness of the 

paratroopers, which you can't mix 

with anything else if you ever 

happened to know it.

INT. CASINO. DAY.

 

 

The camera is moving among the gamblers sitting at the 

tables or walking around. It stops. Two sporty men are 

sitting at the roulette table betting the chips. One of them 

puts several chips on number 8. The roulette wheel is 

turning. The marble stops at number 8.

I saw them winning a lot in 

the casino because they were 

not thinking about the win.

EXT. CASINO SQUARE. NIGHT.

 

 

Four  previously  seen  men  getting  into  a  grey  Maserati  which 

quickly  disappears  among  other  luxurious  cars.  Special  Agent 

watches it from his place at the table in the Cafe de Paris.

 

 

 

 

Voice-over:

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

 

All four get to the car from 

different directions but at the 

same time. Admirable discipline.

EXT. THE YACHT CLUB BAR. DAY.

 

 

MIRKO

 

Why are you telling me all this?

 

 

Special Agent has concerned look.

 

 

MIRKO (CONT’D)

 

 

What would you expect to hear from 

me?  What  kind  of  information  do 

you need from me?

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

MIRKO

 

 

Maybe nobody killed anybody 

and nothing happen?!

 

 

Mirko smiles, after that Special Agent smiles too.

Pamela is standing in the balcony and over looking 

Monte Carlo. The view is through Pamela’s eyes.

Pamela is getting closer to the edge of the balcony.

A crowd of people. Special Agent is watching the people from 

the  distance.  He  is  approaching  them  slowly.  Special  Agent 

is looks down. Nearby he sees Mario standing and crying.

EXT. CASINO SQUARE. EVENING.

 

 

Birds are turning circles above the Casino square. Close-up 

pictures of bird heads. A view from above to Monaco, like 

looking through the eyes of a bird. After turning several 

circles the birds soar up and fly away. A bird's eye view. 

Camera follows the flying birds. Birds are flying towards 

the open sea. Birds are flying close to the water. Birds are 

following the boat.

 

 

The Special Agent is in the boat behind the steering wheel.

Agent is crossing a water boarder of Monaco and Italy.

(CONT’D) Here, I feel that I 

crossed the border.

 

 

Special Agent’s look becomes calmer, soft and relaxed. Birds 

accompanies  the  boat.  The  flock  of  birds  leaves  the  boat 

turn around and fly towards the crane seen in the distance.

 

 

FADE TO BLACK.

 

 

The huge crane, in the middle of Monte Carlo with birds 

sitting on it. A view from the turning crane. Below is the 

relief of Monaco without buildings, the way it looked 

before people moved in there. The crane is rotating 

according the clockwise.

INT. CASINO. NIGHT

 

 

Casino is full of gamblers. Special Agent is walking slowly 

among the roulette and poker tables. He comes closer to one 

of the roulette tables. Four men (aged 50-60) are sitting 

at the table. The gamblers push their chips on the squares 

of the board. The marble is rolling in the roulette. 

Special Agent is watching the move of the marble.

 

 

Voice-over:

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

 

These people have already lost. 

There's a passion in their faces. 

They could win, if they wouldn't 

wish to win. At least for a moment, 

that's what I have understood once 

after my long self-examination.

 

 

A woman gambler (aged 60) is nervously watching the marble 

rolling in the roulette wheel. She is tightened her lips. A 

large view of the man gambler’s (aged 50) face. His eyes 

were shining, but only for second.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT (CONT’D) 

That's all, you've lost. And 

you've lost. And you've lost. I 

also lost. Since long time ago, 

now I only have to wait until the 

marble will stop running. The 

number doesn't mean anything.

 

 

The marble stops on number 16.

 

73.

 

 

 

Special Agent is emptying his glass. The wheel is spinning 

round again. Large close up images of the gamblers. Many 

of them were in previous scenes. The marble is running in 

the roulette wheel. A close-up picture of the Special 

Agents face.

INT. SECURITY OFFICE CONTROL ROOM. NIGHT.

 

 

Policeman No.5 and Policeman No.6 are thumbing the magazines in 

front of the monitors. A man shows up in the monitors in one 

remote and completely empty street. Both policemen notice it 

immediately. They stop reading and look up. Policeman No.5 

leans towards the monitor and zooms the view until the figure 

of a man (aged 24), Emil Renee is seen well.

 

 

We see in the monitor:

 

 

CUT TO:

 

 

A man is moving slowly with graceful moves as he would be 

dancing. A larger view in the monitor, until the close-up 

picture of his face. Both policemen look at each other, 

both have hectic faces.

Policeman No.5 takes the radio telephone lying on the

There  is  a  person  in  the  street 

acting  very  strangely.  Data  has 

been sent send to the crew.

 

 

On the monitor screen, 30 seconds later a police car 

approaches the dancing man. Arrested man is plunged into 

the police car. The car drives away. Empty streets in the 

monitors are seen again. Both Policemen continue reading.

 

 

FADE TO BLACK.

 

 

 

INT. JAIL OFFICE. EARLY MORNING.

 

 

Special Agent is sitting in the office in front of the jail 

officer  (aged  50).  There  is  a  desk  with  a  computer  and 

piles  of  papers  between  them.  There  are  different  pictures 

on the wall with the picture of Michael among them.

JAIL OFFICER

 

 

416 people were imprisoned in our 

jail during the 12 years of my 

experience; 417 if we count the 

one we arrested yesterday. We have 

already started the investigation. 

Our investigator has already got 

his confession which is not final 

yet but our guy doesn't deny that 

he had his accounts with Michael.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

 

I want to talk to him.

 

 

JAIL OFFICER

 

 

Our work is done, the confession 

is obvious, only the details about 

who else was involved and how, or 

whether he did that alone, or who 

ordered it are left. That's what I 

have suspected when I was informed 

that he was dancing there alone. 

We already ordered the psychiatric 

examination.

 

 

Special Agent nods his head “understandably”.

INT. THE CELL. DAY

 

 

The detainee is sagged on the floor in a small about six 

square meter size room. After the cell door opens he 

raises his head and passively watches the Special Agent 

the coming in.

 

 

SPECIAL AGENT

The guy looks at the Special Agent with a deadpan look in 

his face.

What happened?

Camera from very high is vertically moving down. Monaco is 

getting closer until the Zoo is reached. The vertical 

camera move goes down to the cage fence. Leo is laying on 

the floor and looking into a blue sky.

I am separated from the people by 

this fence. People are separated 

from me by this fence. Who from 

us is imprisoned? Why people are 

keeping us in the prison? I am 

thinking about this a lot. I know 

people very well. I’ve seen a lot

talking to each other. We hear nothing. Just silence.

Camera stops and focuses onto black Bentley. The car is 

getting closer to the Cafe de Paris. Michael is getting out 

of the car. Behind the table we see Psychiatrist, Andre, 

Art gallery owner and Antoine. They are looking at Michael 

but keep talking and not paying any attention at all.

 

 

CUT TO:

 

 

 

EXT. THE CENTER OF MONTE CARLO. EVENING.

 

 

People are passing bye. The outdoor café is full of 

visitors. Black Bentley stops near the café. Michael steps 

out of the car. Previously seen movie characters are among 

the visitors. Councillor of Culture and Councillor if Sport 

are amongst them. They look in the direction of Michael and 

continue their conversations as nothing happened.
