The purpose of the study- development of speech skills in English language classes with the help of texts on linguistics and country studies and definition of linguo-didactic principles of teaching intercultural communication and improvement of methodical technology.
As tasks of the research:
- clarifying the interpretation of the concept of linguistic and national studies in foreign language education based on the linguocultural approach;
- study and analysis of the current curriculum, textbooks and manuals from the point of view of the research topic;
- summarizing the work experience of advanced teachers on teaching intercultural communication based on texts related to linguo-national studies;
- by reading and translating texts in English, improving oral skills and making scientific conclusions.
The scientific innovations of the study are expressed in the following:
- The linguo-didactic term introduced into scientific circulation under the name of "Linguonational Studies" and "intercultural dialogue" was defined;

  • With the help of texts related to linguo-national studies to students

the linguo-didactic principles of teaching intercultural communication were determined and justified from a scientific and theoretical point of view;

the method of teaching intercultural communication was improved.

  • The main issues and hypotheses of the research tto trout

It is determined to ensure the quality and effectiveness of teaching intercultural communication with the help of texts related to linguistics and country studies.
Literature review (analysis) on the research topic.In foreign language education, the following scientific research was carried out on the problems of teaching language learners to intercultural communication with the help of texts related to linguo-national studies:
(1) Theory of interpersonal communication (AABodalev, VADobrovich).
(2) Theory of intercultural communication (A. Wiyrlacher, Ye. M. Vereshchagen, VG Kostomarov, OVLesher, G. Neuner).
(3) The concept of "dialogue of cultures" (MMBakhtin, VSBibler, LSVygotsky, MKPetrov, MASokolova).
(4) Teaching intercultural communication by teaching types of speech activities and language material in foreign language education (J..J..Jalolov, TKSattorov, M.Jusupov, J.Yakubov, XRRakhimov, MSDadakho'jayeva, etc. ).
(5) Works on preparing future foreign language teachers for intercultural communication (VNBarishnikov, NDGalskova, F.Isayeva, RPMilrud, GDMalseva, Ye.I.Passov, VVSafonova, IIXaleyeva, AIShcherbakova, LNYakovleva, etc.) manuals and developments, scientific-methodical articles and abstracts of lectures were published.
The scientific-theoretical and practical significance of the conducted researches is unquestionable, but it should be noted that the study of the linguo-didactic principles of teaching intercultural communication to students was not part of the research task.
