Student, Karakalpak State University, Nukus, Uzbekistan LEXICAL-GRAMMATICAL MEANS IN LITERARY TRANSLATION AND PROBLEMS OF THEIR TRANSLATION Abstract The article deals with lexical and grammatical language units in literary translation. The masculine, feminine, and neutral gender issues encountered in some languages are analyzed. A number of examples are given to illustrate the issue of gender. Key words: translation, artistic creation, literary translation, structure of the sentence,lexical problems, grammatical problems, gender. The translation has been interpreted differently by different linguists. One person answers, "Translating a book written in one language into another." Another objected to the definition: What if the thing being translated is not a book but an oral speech or a movie? Therefore, the debate goes on like this. It turns out that everyone understands translation differently. The claims of those who have made the above comments regarding translation are close to the truth. The fact is that each of them describes the translation from one point of view and complements the general concept of it. In addition, the arguments of the participants in the debate show that translation is multifaceted, complicated and complex. The main feature of translation is that it is a creative process, a word art, which is re-created by means of other languages. Artistic translation is a field of artistic creation. Because unlike other fields of translation, literary translation has its own characteristics. These features stem from the nature of fiction. For example, if the main thing in science is an idea, a fact, an analysis, a scheme, then in a work of art, the image, the image, and the impact of the story being told play an important role. The same factors are inevitable for literary translation. “A man is planting a tree” to translate this sentence, it is enough to know the Karakalpak alternatives of 3 words. “Adam terekotirg`izipatir”. But when it comes to transplanting young tree branches in the spring, it's better to use the word "na`l" instead of "terek." ―Adam na`lotirg`izipatir. In the first sentence, which consists of only 3 words, one word is replaced by a synonym for the word “terek”, which is an alternative to “tree”. In other words, the structure of the sentence has changed by about 50%. Now let's imagine what linguistic discoveries are required from a translator to recreate large sentences of tens of words, paragraphs of tens of sentences, chapters of hundreds of paragraphs, whole chapters, entire masterpieces in their own language. Thus, it is not enough to know the exact meaning of a word to translate. To do this, the translator must know the quality of the word in this context, its obsolescence, novelty, figurativeness, respect, reverence, veil, pitching, anger, insult, and so on, must be able to find in the Karakalpak language that corresponds to that indicator. To do this, it is necessary not only to know the language, but also to understand and feel it. As we analyze lexical and grammatical problems in the translation of literary literature, we find that grammatical categories that are not linguistically different cause a number of problems in the translation process. These include verb forms, variations of nouns, adverbs, plurals of nouns, and more.In some cases, for example, nouns of the masculine gender in Russian are interpreted as feminine in other languages. Such gender confusion is very common in languages. This issue is of particular interest in translation studies as a sophistication phenomenon.This is because translators often encounter such linguistic phenomena in their work.
