INTRODUCTION 
Тhe medicine - represents the practical work and the system of scientific 
knowledges of conservation and strengthening of people's health, patient treatment 
and prevention of disease, about advance by the human society of longevity in 
conditions of health and efficiency. In the course of human society development 
parallel to rise scientifically technical progress and the man relation pull, its health, 
the enclosing (or surrounding) the Wednesday has undergone a change, that 
naturally were reflected and in mankind approaches to conceptualization of causes 
of origin disease, principles their the treatment and prevention. On medicine 
formation, and further and the healthcares lent influence not only the anatomy 
development, physiology, microbiology, philosophy, chemistry, physicist, 
economics, mathematics and other sciences, but as well the development of world 
religions, and also the government policy, changing in the course of historic 
development of various states.
Our own period is characterized by the accelerated development in all areas of 
mankind life activity, including medicine and healthcare. In connection with this 
falls the assimilation importance of ready results of science, attained to-day; is 
growing the role of independent scientific thinking of each specialist, including of 
doctor. In connection with this grows the need to develop history thinking, as 
obligatory component part of thinking of scientific. Only historically set up and the 
ambiguously thinking doctor will is ready to those dramatic changes in healthcare, 
with which the it will have to meet in the future.
The textbook "medical history" is linked with duty in the course teaching item data 
for juniors of medical educational institutions, as well as for doctors and average 
the medical workers, which must know the development history of scientific and 
practical medicine in world and national aspect

given medicine development on Uzbek territory, beginning from ancient times and 
until now. The separate chapter is devoted to development of medical education in 
Uzbekistan and in particular of history of formation of Tashkent medical academy.

allowed to create modern, answering the world standards the health service system,

history, the illuminating of these conversions, there has also been One of main 
tasks of, standing before authors.
Main aim of study textbook data is determination of the role of medicine Central 
Asia in development of global science, and also the students acquaintance with life 
and creation of glorious scientists of Uzbekistan, brought the huge contribution to 
developing world medicine. Prospective the textbook has been written according to 
new concept of preparation of general practitioner and developed on that base of 
new education program.
