The object of the research is Togay Murad’s short stories, novels, articles, 
their magazines, book versions, three-volume selected works published by Sharq 
Publishing House in 2018-2019, the author's Diaries, archival materials, 
correspondence were selected as the main source. Related sources, such as the 
collection of memoirs “I will return” written by the writer's contemporaries, were 
also widely used. 
Scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
It has been determined that Togay Murad's spirituality, thinking, worldview, 
personality, and spirit are reflected in the characters of Aqrab, Dehkanqul, Bori 
Plovan, Koplon, Ziyodulla Chavandoz, Batir Firqa in his works, and are in 
harmony with them; 
The writer's childhood memories in determining the history of the creation of 
the novels “Stars burn forever”, “People walking in the moon”, “Night of the horse 
neighing”, “Song of Momo Er”, “Fields left by my father”, “You can't die in this 
world”, especially the author's “Diary notebooks” proved to be an important and 
reliable source; 
In the works, proverbs such as “I saw your father, my brother is forgiven, I 
saw your mother-in-law, her heel is cracked”, “Don't spit in front of your enemy 
even if your mouth is full of blood”, “His name is great, his top is dry”, “There will 
be no offspring for barley”, “He did not see a lamp in his house”, “His ear ding

happened”, “Did you see a camel - no?” It is proven that popular expression in the 
literary style was given priority due to the fact that there are many expressions, 
artistic repetitions, and prose-sajj; 
In Uzbek criticism, the definitions given to the character of the literary hero 
Dehkanqul as “manqurt” and the story “People walking in the moon” as a work 
that “reflects the remnants of feudalism” are determined to be biased approaches 
under ideological influence.
