JUDO HISTORY Judo was created in 1882 by Kano Jigoro Shihan. As an educational method derived from the martial arts, judo became an official Olympic sport in 1964 (after being named as a demonstration sport at the 1940 Tokyo Olympic Games which were cancelled due to international conflict). Judo (Japanese judo - soft, do - way) is a sport of single combat. Prof. D. in Japan. Dzigoro Kano (1860-1938) was founded in 1882. He took the Japanese methods of jiu-jitsu wrestling that do not harm human health and shaped D. as a sport that leads to physical perfection. JUDO STARS D. competitions have been held since 1883. The International D. Federation (FIJ) was established in 1956 and includes about 150 countries, including the D. Federation of Uzbekistan (1991). The World Cup has been held since 1956, and the Olympic Games have been included in the program since 1964. In Uzbekistan, D. has been involved since the 80s of the 20th century. Some aspects of D. quickly became popular because they were similar to Uzbek wrestling. Our athletes have achieved high results, especially during the years of independence, they have been awarded more than 30 medals in prestigious competitions In particular, Armen Bagdasarov won silver at the Olympics (1996) and the Asian Games (1998), Farhod Turaev won silver at the World Championships (1999) and two gold medals in the A category (1998, 2001), and Egamnazar Akbarov won silver at the World Universiade (2001). Kamol Murodov (1998) and Vladimir Shturbabin (1999) won gold and Suzanna Ahmedova won bronze medals at the Asian Championships (1999). THANK YOU FOR ATTENTION KARIMOV DILSHOD Download 1.61 Mb.
