The importance of the theme. After Uzbekistan’s independence, radical changes were made in the life of society and state. The great contribution to the creation of a national personnel training system for the restoration of our spirituality and culture, the development of knowledge and skills of our citizens, the enrichment of national self-esteem and the rise of the new independent state in all spheres, attention was paid. In this regard, the first President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov on August 4, 1990 on the main directions of the activity of the Communist Party of Uzbekistan, stated, "We need a special national program of training personnel." The goal was to develop science in Uzbekistan by expanding qualified staff. In this regard, on August 29, 1997, the law "On National Program of Personnel Training" and "On Education" were adopted. Based on the Law on Education, a 9-year general secondary education and a 3-year secondary vocational education system have been introduced. Today, according to the Section 4.4 "Development of education and science" of the Strategy for further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 developed by initiatives of our President Shavkat Mironovich Mirziyoev, continuing education to further improve the system, to improve the quality of educational services, to continue the policy of training highly qualified personnel, meeting the modern requirements of the labor market. Based on the above, it is important to study the history of the formation and development of the public education system of Namangan region.
