The aіm:

  • To improve students’ reading skills

  • To give background knowledge about what the correction code is and how to use.

Objectives:

practice in completing task

  • To improve writing skills and enrich knowledge on correction in written

work.

  • To check students writing skills about the error correction.

  • To improve writing skills and practice peer correction .

Objective: to lead-in to the topic and to raise students’ interest to it.

Time:5minutes

Material: Handouts, board


  • ☺ Before starting lesson teacher gives questions for discussion:

-Have you ever given your piece of written work for checking? Who checked?

and How it was checked?

-Do you like teachers who correct your mistake? If Yes, why? If No, why?

-Have you ever checked someone’s written work? If Yes, How? If No, How?

Objective: to discuss and exchange views on correction and its importance
