Aim: to develop the language skills of students by doing different types of writing and speaking activities .
Warm-up activity
Objective: to create language atmosphere and to lead the students to the topic they are going to discuss.
Time: 5 minutes
Materials: none
Teacher asks some questions related to the topic:

  How many sports can you name?

  Which ones do you do at your school?
  
• 
  Do you play video games?
  
• 
  Which are your favourites?
  

Procedure of the lesson
Pre stage of the lesson
Objective: to improve students’ language skills as well as to provide them with the knowledge about sport games
Time: 10 minutes
Materials: blackboard, some pictures, scissors, magnets.
Task -1
Teacher puts on some pictures on the blackboard, pictures( related to sport games) and students should match them with their names.

While stage of the lesson
Ex-1 Listen, repeat and match
Objective: Listening ability grows, learns the meaning and pronunciation of new words
Time :2 minutes
Materials: book , pen, computer.
Problem! If the computer does not work, the written version of listening, to read.
Teacher distributes handouts to the students firstly , students should listen audio and repeat.
Ex -2
Objective: To develop speaking skills, to be able to use words
Time : 8 minutes
Materials : no
Teacher give some question , pupils should answer .

Ex3
Objective: improve their vacabularly and they can use them in the sentence
Time: 5minute
Materials: book , pen

Extra activity
Task1
Objective: making the lesson interesting and improving the ability to think quickly
Time: 8
Children are divided into two groups and play checkers, the team that lost a piece is asked a question. if he/she can answer the question, the game continues, if he/she can't answer, one player loses
Task 2
Objective: Repeating new words and consolidating knowledge
Time: 5minute
The teacher gives pictures and the students write down the names of the sport name they remember
Homework
Objective: to improve students’ reading and speaking skills.
Time : 2 minutes
Teacher summarizes the lesson and gives instruction for homework. Reading the text given in the children's course book, translate and learn new words. Prepare to answer questions about the text
