Welcome to Lovettsville! On behalf of the Town Council and the citizens of Lovettsville, I would like to introduce you to our Town.
Lovettsville is nestled near the Potomac River, 15 miles north- west of Leesburg, Virginia. The citizens of Lovettsville have a great deal of pride in our Town and its German Heritage.
Lovettsville is a small town of only 1,680 people, but we have a big heart! The Lovettsville Area (20180 Zip Code) boasts a population of 6,300 people who add to the quality of life of Northern Loudoun County.
As we strive to communicate effectively with Lovettsville’s residents and visitors alike, this directory will provide a snapshot of useful information about our local businesses, community organizations and cultural events.

Memorial Day (May 27, 2013) Join residents at the Veterans Memorial to pay tribute to the sacrifices made by American servicemen and servicewomen.
Movies on the Green (June to October 2013) Family Movies are FREE to the public & begin at dusk on the 2nd Friday of every month on the Town Green. Bring your own blanket/chairs & refreshments.
Patriot Day (September 11, 2013) Town gathering at the Town Veterans Memorial to remember & reflect upon the events of September 11, 2001.
Oktoberfest (September 27-29, 2013) Town Celebration of our German heritage, Oktoberfest features over 85 craft & food vendors, with musical entertainment, a dance floor, and a Beer Garden.
Veterans Day (November 11, 2013) Ceremony held at the Town Square, featuring dedication of Veterans memorial pavers at Town Veterans Memorial.
Lantern Parade & Tree Lighting (December 6, 2013) Lantern Parade from Community Center to Tree Lighting at the Town Square. Official kickoff of the Christmas season in Lovettsville.
Light Up Lovettsville (December 14, 2013) Town holiday light & decoration contest. Judges travel around Town on a hay wagon to search for the homeowners & businesses with the best holiday décor!
Berserkle in the Squirkle (January 1, 2014) 5K fun-run, with local businesses featured in "Pit Row," is a fun & quirky way to kick off the New Year in Lovettsville. Dress in crazy costumes & go “berserk”!
