V. Learning outcomes/ Professional competencies
Talaba bilishi kerak:
To have an idea about the main riverbed processes in riverbeds and banks, the main parameters of sediment and flow, the laws of velocity distribution and resistance to flow in natural channels, determining the discharge of bedload and suspended load, calculating channels with stable cross- sections; (knowledge)
To know and be able to use vertical distribution of flow velocity and shear stress, determination of the discharge of bedload and suspended load, numerical modeling of sediment transport; (skill)
Should have the skills to determine the general characteristics of meandering, local scour phenomenon, sediment transport capacity, dimensional analysis of two-dimensional two-phase flow. beginning of the movement of the sediment transport particle. (qualification)
