Fig. 5.5. Radiation pattern of waveguide.
Task to perform.
Each student must study such horn antenna properties as gain, radiation
pattern, azimuth and current conduction. Prepare reports and submit them. The
operating frequency of the antenna is determined
by the following formula
F=10N+1500 (MHz). Here F is the frequency of the antenna, N is the student's
serial number according to the journal.

Laboratory work # 6
Theme: Study of parameters of 2G networks
Purpose of work: Study the principle of operation of second generation
networks, the main components and architecture of the network structure.
Definition
Global system for mobile communication (GSM) is a globally accepted
standard for digital cellular communication.
GSM is the name of a
standardization group established in 1982 to create a common European mobile
telephone standard that would formulate specifications
for a pan-European
mobile cellular radio system operating at 900 MHz. It is estimated that many
countries outside of Europe will join the GSM partnership.
Overview
This tutorial provides an introduction
to basic GSM concepts,
specifications, networks, and services. A short history of network evolution is
provided in order set the context for understanding GSM.
