The \'uptalk\' phenomenon in modern English

Relevance and importance of the subject of the graduation thesis. Phenomenon, in philosophy, any object, fact or event perceived or observed. In general, phenomena are objects of the senses (for example, images and sounds) as opposed to what is perceived by the mind. The Greek verb phainesthai ("seems" or "appears") does not indicate whether what is perceived is different from what it appears to be. Thus, in Aristotle's ethics, "the outward good" is what appears to be good to a man, whether he is actually good or not. Later Greek philosophers distinguished between observed events (phenomena) and theories designed to explain them. This usage, widely adopted in the 17th century by scientists who sought to explain phenomena of the natural sciences (for example, magnetism), is still valid today.
The purpose of the subject and the tasks arising from it. In modern philosophy, the word is sometimes used for what is perceived by the senses immediately before making judgments; however, it never became a technical term, with many philosophers preferring sensory data or a similar expression — although they generally accept related forms as phenomenology and realism.
