  to learn the difference between how to pronounce some words;

  to learn how to pronounce syllables and know their numbers.

  to enable pupils how to pronounce the words correctly;

  to develop the pupils’ listening skills

- to raise awareness of some more common differences in pronounciation

Warm-up	Teacher asks students what is syllable and why it is important. Teacher should ask students to tell some words and how many syllables they pronounce in each word. Teacher asks students to look at the handouts and read the words orally one by one. Activity 1. Working with worksheets	Give each student an activity and worksheets. Ask students to sign the syllables in blue and stressed one in red. Give students a limited time to finish the activity. When time is up, ask them to share with their peers to make sure they have the same letters colored red and blue	To revise the word stress and syllables.
