The main task of the Department of Foreign Languages of TMA is the training of specialists, owning foreign languages. In the context of globalization and rapid development technologies more and more scientists and specialists are aware of the need to obtain the necessary information on the problem they are interested in as soon as possible with in order to have an idea of the latest achievements of science and technology. Insofar as most of the information in the world is in English - among the languages from which translate the most in different countries, with a wide margin in the lead English, skill translate becomes one of the most important skills in learning a foreign language. Therefore training, if not a translator, but already a specialist in medical terminology and special translation techniques, becomes one of the important directions in teaching a foreign (English) language, which undeniably expands general qualification of a specialist.
Translation performs its most important function of providing various contacts between people for a long time and only in the twentieth century. This type of activity was recognized as occupying a special place, this is especially true today, which is associated with the growth of information, fast the distribution and consumption of which we are obliged to translate. Such an informational the boom and ever-expanding professional needs are driving us today translation is an increasing number of people who are not translators.
In the domestic tradition of education, a foreign language is mandatory discipline in all universities of the country. The ability to read and translate literature by profession has always been one of the tasks of a university course in a foreign language. This task is the main and in the preparation of graduate students for passing a candidate minimum in a foreign language. However, with this translation as a type of linguistic activity is still regarded as a derivative from acquired knowledge of a foreign language and specifically this type of activity is given not enough attention. Our teaching aid is an attempt to some extent replenish existing gap.
